The Canadian 29er Class Association has part of its mission to promote, foster, encourage, and sponsor 29er class racing in Canada.
As a result, the Association is directly engaged in selection and support for the Canadian Nationals, the Canadian 29er Junior (Youth) Championships, the Regional Grand Prix Series (West/Central, East and Atlantic), and works with its counterparts in support of the 29er North American Championships.

Canadian 29er Class Grand Prix Series
The Class supports a regional Grand Prix in each of our three regions. – West (BC, AB, SK, MB), East (ON, QC), and Atlantic (NB, NS, PEI, NL).
The top team in each region is named the winner based on a points calculation of results from three distinct named regional events each season. Scored events are weighted by the number of boats participating. Also required that the team is intact (no substitutions).
Each winning regional team is awarded a Class Trophy and 29er gear, generously donated by 49er.ca.
